I may be getting a MF 2 in 1 pipe and wondering what my jetting should be at. Reading through all the posts I could find, I figure i should be running about a 280-300 main jet. Elevation is about 1500, be riding in 30-50 degree weather. I see some people run them leaner and some run them really rich????

Mods:

20cc domes

VF3, reeds

mild porting

k/n w/pro flow adapter NO LID

PC plats

330 mains - tad rich but runs great, no fouling

2nd slot from top of needle

stock pilots

1.5 turns out

Wondering if 310 would be small enough as its the closest i have, have 240's but i imagine they are too small. I'm thinking i could find a drill big that is loose in the 310 and drill out the 240's?

Thanks for your input.

Ran decent with the 330's, dropped down to 300's. I'm not real impressed but have to take it out tomorrow and possibly get the jetting closer. More mid than before but it doesn't pull much after taht, the only way to test it is to take it in the woods.
