Knight_Rider Posted December 26, 2006 Report Posted December 26, 2006 Hey guys im pretty new to this site im currently rebuilding my 99 banshee motor,i need help adjusting the shifter mechanisim which connects to the shift cluster for changing gear there is a procedure for doing it it states that the clearance must be equal. has anyone done this? any help would be appreciated Jarrad Quote
drunkbansheerider Posted December 26, 2006 Report Posted December 26, 2006 you should see a stud with a slot on it for a screwdriver with a jam nut at the base of it. loosen the jam nut and turn the stud while watching the distance from the shift star. Quote

If you loosen the nut you can turn that stud (w/flat screwdriver slot in it) and see the shift shaft arm move up and down. Just get it as close to center as you can eyeball. Quote
