You can not just take off your airbox lid unless you like to rebuild your engine.Acording to you you said STOCK BIKE so the airbox lid holds your filter in place. You will either have to get a proflow kit or clamp on filters. And yes if you do take the lid off you will have to go richer in the jetting. bansheeyfz Posted December 25, 2006 Author Report Posted December 25, 2006 well its not complety stock i do have a pro flow kit and cool head. How much bigger in the mains do you think ill have to go 300-320? Oh yea i live in Philly Quote
bansheeseat$$ Posted December 25, 2006 Report Posted December 25, 2006 I'm assuming Philly is sea level-ish.And what cc domes are you running?I would start out with the 320's maybe even 340's it's cheaper to start rich and go down with the jetting. Quote
bansheeyfz Posted December 25, 2006 Author Report Posted December 25, 2006 21 cc domes. Maybe ill keep the lid on for now then go and buy some jets to tinker with after the holidays Quote
locogato11283 Posted December 26, 2006 Report Posted December 26, 2006 even with the air box lid on id prolly start higher than 280. whats your temp and elevation?? Quote
