CHAWAWA Posted December 20, 2006 Report Posted December 20, 2006 I have a 99 shee with FMF fatty golds board at about 50 over not shure on compression yet son put back together yet and snorkel off, billet h2o, uni air filter, and boison reeds. I would like to get V force reeds and cool heads (not shure what domes to use). Do I need to advance my timeing or run better than 93 octane or is stock timeing and 93 ok. Quote
sheefreak Posted December 20, 2006 Report Posted December 20, 2006 Lot of variables there. Are the pipes newly installed? What are you running for jetting? Do you want to run 93, or are you willing to pay the money to run race fuel? You don't have to advance the timing, but will perform better if you do. Quote
Blue Duece Posted December 20, 2006 Report Posted December 20, 2006 youd better get a compression tester.......unless your getting up to 150 psi you dont need race fuel............maybe get a timming plate with your head and domes, the delta reeds are crisp providing your jetting is right on, if your psi gets to high you have to start thinking about balancing your crank and all that, 8 bucks a gallon for good race fuel, then youll need a good port job with larger carbs, man the list will just go on and on and on and on and on........
