I just got a set of holeshots gncc front and rear. we just went up north to mio mi. and i love my gncc. great hook up and you go in the direction you point the fronts so lean and hold on.

wow so instead of buying a big boar kit we should just boar the crap out of it :shoothead: hay while im at it I think i will just cut the rods and and weld some rebar in them to make it a stroker as well. and you know i have a larg drill bit i sould make my own 34mm carbs wow i think you have something here. :: well that was fun. now that I look at it that is some funny shit. :yelrotflmao: :yelrotflmao: :yelrotflmao:

I just got my shee back together and it was punched out to 60 over and i was wondering what size that would make it. 370 or what :shrug: and I went from 30 over would i have to rejet.

A BLOW DRIER WILL MELT THE FOAM. IF IT DOESN'T HAVE A METAL FRAME THEN YOU CAN GENTLEY FOLD IN A TOWL SEVERAL TIMES SO THE TOWL WRAP IS NEATLY FOLDED. PLACE ON FLOOR AND STAND ON TOWL. DO NOT TWIST YOU ARE JUST PRESSING THE WATER FROM THE FILTER INTO THE TOWL.

WELL SPLIT THE CASE AND IT SEEMS LIKE THE BARRINGS ARE BAD ON THE CRANK. THE ONE ON THE OUTSIDE ON THE CLUTCH SIDE IS LOOSE MY CONCERN IS THE BARRINGS IN THE CENTER THEY HAVE PLAY FROM SIDE TO SIDE. SO IM GUESSING I NEED A NEW CRANK. WELL LAST MOMENT BUT I NEED ONE ASAP I AM GIVEING MY 2 KIDS QUADS FOR X MAS AND I WOULD LIKE TO RIDE WITH THEM NEXT WEEKEND MY BUDGET IS UNDER $150 AND I LIVE IN TOLEDO OHIO. I AM WILLING TO DRIVE 2 HOURS AWAY. PLEASE HELP

I have a 99 shee with FMF fatty golds board at about 50 over not shure on compression yet son put back together yet and snorkel off, billet h2o, uni air filter, and boison reeds. I would like to get V force reeds and cool heads (not shure what domes to use). Do I need to advance my timeing or run better than 93 octane or is stock timeing and 93 ok.

thank you that was perfect. I was telling a guy at work today that the oil in a 2 stroke was for the crank as well and he wanted proof.

yes a fly wheel puller is what I ment thanks I will see where I am at. I don't want to port the jugs cause I don't want to deal with the jetting that much. The temp changes so much around here and I ride in difrent locations and altitudes all the time and just to much to deal with. Was looking for other mods thanks for the good advice.

with lid without snorkel. I want to keep the lid but make a new snorkel that is larger to accomedate more air. I like to get into some mud and need to keep the lid. I just started work on the case clutch side first while it was in the frame so i could use the drive line to remove nuts. I need to find a stator puller to continue. Are their some low dollar mods I can do while I have the case open. Need to save some $ wife is looking for a better job at the moment, my overtime is over, and christmas and all, but while I'm in there I would like to do what I can. :thumbsup:

Well i just did a search and found the thread by big red on case splitting and it helped a great deal with the anxiety of the task once again love this site it is a life saver.

Sorry I dident ansur but yes I did. I think I am running a 260 main and I bumped up the pilot aswell cant rember the # right now.

I went to bike bandet and looked at a scematic of the crank and I bet it was that half moon clip. Like I said it looked like a piston ring and i had them all. Now that I am going to split the case is there anything I should be carefu of while doing so. Or is there anything I should replace while in there. Thankyou for all your input. I would be lost without all of you.

I put FMF fattys on my shee did alittle drag race and then it woulden't stay running. I did a comp test and on the right side it was 0. I took the topend off and found what looked like a piston ring that looked like it was pulled up from the bottom of the motor up the cylinder wall (ouch :: ) and fragmented and pitted the hell out of the top of my head and piston. Now I checked and i have all the rings on both sides and the ring position pins, and the cerclips for the risk pins. Is there ennything in the bottom of the motor that resembles a piston ring. I have allready sent out my jugs to be board and new pistons and am concerned that some clip is missing. The top end was redone 2 years ago and has a ton of houres on the build could a old ring be left in the bottom and took this long to work its way up.
