look on the side of the tire. if you are running an 18" mx tire you should run 5psi.

Way more than that for a mx tire. At least 7 lbs.

Those are ITPs suggested pressure. And now that Ive been runnug mine at 7.5 lbs, I do notice a difference.

its like 10 to 15 psi to seat the bead. i run my mxr6's at 5 to 5 1/2 psi and it gives them a nice flat profile.

I give it the old "push down on the tire with your hand" technique on the front tires. Too hard and you feel every rock, rut, and stump on the trail. The rear tires, I eye up the tread so it's level for that even grip

yeah, I do the same but I still keep a pressure reading. A good gauge is like 5 bucks top of the line is like 12 bucks. Its usually 5-6 psi front and rear. I will have to see what I like when I get my Razr 2s.

i only put my kendas up to 10psi to do doughnuts and slid the corners on the road befor i got my new rims and tires. but now i run 5psi in the mxr6's.

On my razr mx tires i run 5 in the back but on the fronts i run 7-8. If i run 4-5 in the fronts i bend the shit out of the rims on big jumps. Fist few days i had them i was jumping with 5psi in the fronts and bent the lip on both my front rims i wasnt happy to say the least.

Yep, thats why. I've bent a rear rim before from having too little pressure (I always have kept the fronts high).

If your running mx tires on a track, you aren't worried about the ride anyways, you want performance. Ask anybody that races mx what pressure they run. Its going to be closer to 10.
