powder coated wheels.

i want to powder coat some gold like the old school look. i love the old school gold rims that use to soe on the 250rs and banshee. i was wondering if they have that color.

Nice job on those wheels they look really good. Could you powder coat just the inside of a wheel and not the bead lock ring or the reinforcement ring like on these?

Yep I used to have them ITP wheels.I had the powder coat guy tape the outer rings so only the inner wheel got the black powder coat.It looked good.

Yes you can, the only problem is when you tape you might not have a super sharp line around the beadlock area.

Yes, thats how most do it. When wheels come in to get black centers, and polished lips they go to the polish company than they clean up the edging.

So say I went and bought some black ITP Baja rims and was wanting the beadlock ring PC'd the Vein red(that I absolutely love) how hard would that be....I don't know if the ring comes off that's why I ask this seemingly dumb question

I think they are welded on, for structure strength. The rings can be done, the tape work would be a bitch to get behind them, so that no powder sticks on the rim it self.
