polished stock wheels?

i have the standard silver wheels on my 03 and i was wondering if anyone has polished their stock wheels? the wheels that my paddles are mounted on are polished douglas wheels. so when i put them on the shee it looks a little wierd because the fronts aren't polished. are the stockers clear coated? can they be polished easily?

a friend polished his stocks, shined up pretty good. by looking at the surface, didn't seem there was a coat.

i wish i had the silver wheels. mine came with gold. when i put my paddles on i bet you can imagine how it looks. oh well. i would think you could polish them. on my douglas rears i used the polishing ball on a drill and they turned out awesome. mothers and the ball. cant hurt

i tryes ploishing my stock from rims for the same reason you did and they are coated in some kinda clear coat think i cant get off unless i sand it off. iv tryed aircrafed stripper aswell the take it off but wouldnt even touch the clear coat. so i dont know what to tell you. im got to get some new rims from Rockymountin when i need new front tires. thwere pretty cheap there
