odaen Posted December 2, 2006 Report Posted December 2, 2006 i have to disagree with you... i used to race laydown enduro karts with the little kt 100 2 strokes on them... we raced them on nascar tracks... pinned at about 14k-15k only time they got letup was for the small portion we where running the infield course... thats where we always incountered motors sticking... wouldn't be the first time that someone disagreed with me, no biggie :beer: I'm guessing those karts you speak of use a fuel pump too though right? again I was speaking from my experiences, and I've seen more banshee's being towed back from the flats than anywhere else in the dunes. whether it be from detonation, jetting, or running your bowls dry, putting a motor under that type of load for extended times is going to expose any problems that might have otherwise gone unnoticed.
