How do I test the igniton coil and the cdi box?

My stock 94 banshee only has spark on two of five kicks, this is the reason why it won't start, it ran fine before, and one day I took it out and it would not start, i just about pushed it off a bridge that day I was so pissed! I need to get it fixed before I destroy it. I need better spark, it needs to spark on every kick on both sides to run. i have it narrowed down to the cdi and the cdi or somehow the timing got messed up. I'm thinkin its the cdi. Is their a way to test the cdi and ignition coil so I don't buy more than i need? I need to get it fixed before this weekend, or I will not get it fixed till spring. ::

hey it really should not be the cdi but i have a stock one laing around 50 bucks for it...i have like 4 coil's dont know if they work, but throw in extra 8 bucks and you take them all and see if one works... you can test if there is ohm's in and out of the coil and the restance's of the path...The CDI there is no way possable to test it
