fourwheelin24 Posted November 26, 2006 Report Posted November 26, 2006 i am having trouble with the carb, or intake, i am running with vforce 3 reeds, what the problem that i am having is with the carb turned straight up the left side is going flat with about 1/4 throttle, and i can turn the carb to the left alittle and it lets the left side run great and the right side will go flat about 1/2 to 3/4 throttle, i have tried another carb tonight and it did the same, have anyone ran the vforce 3 reeds with this set up??? and what do you think i should do?? thanks melton Quote
smokin 2 stroke Posted November 26, 2006 Report Posted November 26, 2006 maybe it could be floats Quote
fourwheelin24 Posted November 26, 2006 Author Report Posted November 26, 2006 the float is fine i am thinking the it is the way the vforce 3 reeds have a small hole and is not as open at the stock reeds or another set of reeds, i am waiting on a set of reeds to come in, thanks for the comment maybe it could be floats Quote
Bandit Posted November 26, 2006 Report Posted November 26, 2006 It could be them reeds. I just put the same setup on mine yesterday and run stock reeds and had no problem at all. Quote
fourwheelin24 Posted November 26, 2006 Author Report Posted November 26, 2006 have you seen the vforce 3 reeds they have a small hole on the intake side, unlike the vforce 2 and stock i have a set of stock reeds coming and i will see if that works, thanks It could be them reeds. I just put the same setup on mine yesterday and run stock reeds and had no problem at all. Quote
