Well this question might come off as simple to some but we are not all professionals. I use my bike to have fun and ride around but I like to line up on the line occasionally. So whats the best to improve on in the quarter mile: low/midrange or mid/top-end. It sounds logical to me that it would be low/mid but Im not a serious dragger so any advice would be good. The reason Im asking is because my bike is stock like Ive said before because I want to keep it reliable and Im thinking about getting vitos power or superstock piston kit depending on the advice I get.

Im no expert but Im thinking it depends strictly on what distance your drag racing . If your going a full quarter mile Id say highs due to the distance and that the motor will be in the upper range of the powerband most of the time . If your going a shorter distance (300-660 feet) id say mid/high

Low end is for trails

you got it...

for a 1/4 mile drag you want some big time topend..you can have all the bottom end you want but once you hit the powerband your done...

as for the vitos i would look into normal weisco prolites... the vitos have been cut and can hang on your exhaust ports... not saying that it will but its got enough of a chance that me and everyone i know dont run them... a nice port job and some pro lites will get you as far as you need to go...
