bigfox Posted November 23, 2006 Report Posted November 23, 2006 I bought a 98 Shee not that long ago. It started on first kick and ran great when i tested it. Now it will sometimes fire on first kick, but is weak and stops. Other times it is stong and ideals well. But when I run it, it is struggling, almost sounds restricted, has no power and will die easy. Could It be as simple as fowld plugs? I did clean them off last night, but this morning all these problems. Lastly, complression check shows even at about 100. And on of the carbs is leaking out the float valve. Any suggestions?? Quote
BANSHEEMANIAC Posted November 24, 2006 Report Posted November 24, 2006 if the carbs are leaking out the overflow, the seat is not sealing. tap on the carb with the handle of a scwewdriver to see if it helps. if it dont, take them off and clean them. if the float height is off, that will cause it to run rich. bansheefreak Posted November 24, 2006 Report Posted November 24, 2006 when your plugs foul you cant just clean them off.. there is more to a plug the just lil too much oil on them.. change the plugs see what happens... if cleaning a plug fixes a fouling plug problem sparkplug companys would go out of business....
