BANSHEEMANIAC Posted November 23, 2006 Report Posted November 23, 2006 is the choke tube on it correctly? also see what you pilots are, and where the needle clip is. Quote
dajogejr Posted November 24, 2006 Report Posted November 24, 2006 Check compression again....always good to have a baseline for a fresh top end. Since you didn't mention riding temps or elevation, I'll give you the averages for pipes... With airbox and lid, no snorkel, 240 to 260 With airbox NO lid or screen lid, etc., 250 to 270 NO airbox at all, 310 to 340... These are taking into consideration your riding temps are 70 to 90 degrees, at or near sea level. 210 is too small a main, unless you're at 4000 feet or above with just those FMF pipes....and then It still might be a hair lean... Well I am at sea level and riding temps are usually 70 to 90, so 210 is lean huh, how about pilots and what level to start the needle at? Oh i have an airbox with no lid. Thanks for all your help!!!!!!! Quote
dajogejr Posted November 24, 2006 Report Posted November 24, 2006 Fatty pipes, airbox with no lid, right? Not missing anything else? Try 270 mains and 27.5 pilots, middle clip on the needle. That main might be a little rich...but, better safe than sorry. Quote
