Animalman294 Posted November 20, 2006 Report Posted November 20, 2006 Yeah, I agree the bike looks a little trashed. I think for that kind of money you get a bike that doesn't have as much abuse and then fix it up to your style of ridin'............ Quote
Showcase Posted November 21, 2006 Author Report Posted November 21, 2006 thanks for the replies...yea he bought it from some guy and he said it was a 90 so idk, it has the ohlins already on it, thats so nice though. arent they really expensive? Quote

corkforbrains Posted November 23, 2006 Report Posted November 23, 2006 These guys are tellin ya right Bubba...2 grand will get you quite abit more bike than the one you are considering...ESPECIALLY if you're willing to travel some to pick one up. With all the talk about the gov't wanting to get rid of 2 strokes in general, plus all the new stuff coming out is 4 stroke anyways, if you take your time and look I'm sure that you'll find one quite a few years newer and in better condition to boot! In the meantime, spend some time reading up on banshees (this site's forum is a GREAT place to start!) and learn about all the modifications people are doing to their bikes to make them faster, handle better, and just plain more enjoyable all around! It's kinda one of them "measure twice, cut once" situations but, you'll be glad you did... ~cork Quote
