Bubba_wrx Posted November 7, 2006 Report Posted November 7, 2006 Ok, Yesterday I went riding with my counsin. And while I was pushing it out of his garage and I turned the wheels, I noticed that the right side"passenger side" wheel would turn so far as to hit the lower a-arm. I am pretty sure its not supposed to do that...haha. Is there any adjustment that I can do to fix this? The opposite side comes close to hitting, but doesnt. The side that does hit, the tie-rod seems to be adjusted a little bit shorter than the side that doesnt hit. Could I try adjusting on that or what? It rides fine and everything, just turns so far to hit the a-arm. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Quote
Bansh-eman Posted November 7, 2006 Report Posted November 7, 2006 check the stopage thing under your radiator... at the end of the sterring stem... it should hit on both sides... Quote
JET 99 Posted November 7, 2006 Report Posted November 7, 2006 mine did the same thing when i first bought it. the a -arms were kinda tweaked along with tie rods and ends. there was nothing wrong with the steering stem stop. center your bars do some measuring and check for the toe in of the tires... when centered does that side toe in more or less than the other????????? Quote
Bubba_wrx Posted November 7, 2006 Author Report Posted November 7, 2006 Yeah, I think I noticed that that back side of the tire does sit a little closer to the frame than the other tire. I assume thats toe-in right? I've never been able to understand those...haha. But yeah, I think im gonna try adjusting on that tie-rod a little and see what that does for me. I just wanted to get a few different opinions. Quote
