I am putting the yfz450 suspension on my banshee and I'm at the point where I need tie rods. I am ordering new ones but not sure if I need 450 or banshee tie rods because of the length. If anyone knows I could use the info. Thanks......

theres a guy on here who has an almost complete yfz450 front end on his banshee. he used 450 tie rods. (search under username "long rod todd")

i just got my 450 a arms in. i'm going to use 450 tie rods as well. (scored '05 arms and rods in excellent condition for $100)

how are you mounting your lower arms?

i think i'm going to cut the bushing mounts off mine and install heim's in place. got some testing to do with it

I just got 450 a-arms also for 100.00.You have to cut one of the mounts down and then put a spacer to make up the missing space.I got all the info from the guy that already did it.Just do a search.

I took my frame and control arms to a body shop and they cut the rear control arm mounts off and moved them back to fit. I also had them move the lower shock mount on the control arm so I would have more clearance between the spring and upper control arm. Without moving it the spring was rubbing on the control arm. They done a really nice job with the extra braces on the control arm. I had the frame and control arms powercoated and it looks pretty cool. Heim joints sounds pretty cool. That should look nice.. Thanks for the info....
