Mullet Man Posted November 3, 2006 Report Posted November 3, 2006 say its mechanically perfect. piped, jetted, filtered, aftermarket polished wheels, flawless plastics. what would be a good going rate for one? what did they cost new? Quote
nunyabinness Posted November 3, 2006 Report Posted November 3, 2006 (edited) msrp new was $3299 i would say you are looking at $2300-$2500 for a blaster as you described. i have a 2000 that i can't get rid of for $1400, but it is pretty much stock with trimmed plastics. Mullet Man Posted November 3, 2006 Author Report Posted November 3, 2006 (edited) was looking on EBAY at completed listings. appears they dont sell for more then $1800 even modded. if they even get to $1800. most if not all 2003's were under that price WOW. guy wants to trade for my camaro. might do it plus cash thanks man Edited November 3, 2006 by Mullet Man Quote
csrmel Posted November 3, 2006 Report Posted November 3, 2006 i see blasters all over the place from $1000-$2000. i wouldnt pay more than $1200 for one, even if its been piped and had other work done. Quote
Bubba_wrx Posted November 3, 2006 Report Posted November 3, 2006 I just sold my 05' piped, Boyesen Rad valve, and 20" rear kenda klaws for $2300. You just gotta find the right person thats wanting a quality beginner quad and not a "cheap blaster". Thats the part that sucks, most people that want a blaster are just wanting a "cheap quad" and not a good quad for a beginner. Just gotta find the right person. I'd say you'd be looking at right about 2K. Good luck with your sale. Quote
Hollister_Hitman Posted November 3, 2006 Report Posted November 3, 2006 I sold a stock 03' with drum brakes on the front for $2000, but that was in CA Quote
Mullet Man Posted November 3, 2006 Author Report Posted November 3, 2006 wow, they had drum brakes on the front in '03??? what options did these have? everything is more expensive in Cali! Quote
blak banshee Posted November 4, 2006 Report Posted November 4, 2006 he swapped them out and put the disc on an older blaster. I need to do the same. Quote

In NJ, even if it's in good shape and stock you probably won't be able to get more then 11, 1200 for the new style. I bought a 2002 shee here for 1150, in ok shape, and the balsters don;t seem to fetch a heck of a lot more. I know the price varies a lot by area though. Quote
