Went to the dunes this past weekend for a few ours and everything was pretty beat down so I was in the process of making my own trail when the front end came up and spun me down hill in the air and flipped me upside down into an old trail.

Well it completely broke of my clutch lever and I need a new one since I might go riding next weekend. I've searched on ebay and here and stuff but I just don't know whats good. The ASV's are nice but pricey....but are they worth it? I remember awhile back some one talking about MSR Raptor shorty clutch but I couldn't find a pic.

I only want to do this once so if you guys could give me some info so I spend my money wisely that would be great.

Thanks in advance guys

I had that ASV C5 Series post going a while back. This is what I think..

I supposed the call it the unbreakable because they have this swivell that allows the lever to fold the opposite way.

It comes with a lifetime warranty but 25 bux get's you a refurbished one on the bay.

The lever is not as smooth as it used to be but it wasn't a major difference from stock now that I remember it. Maybe I need a new clutch cable. In this picture you can see all the play left on the cable though i tried to adjust it & make it tight.

Now look at the cable when I pull the lever. It's rubbing & keeps from moving smooth. I lubed a bit but didn't help.

The MSR Raptor Shorty is better than this. My bro has it & reccomend over ASV.

The MSR let's you position your cable in 3 locations so you won't have this rub problem.

Being that it's a shorty, you only need one or two fingers to pull the lever. It's real soft & smooth + by using two fingers, keeps the rest of your hand on the grip vs the ASV where you have to open more of your hand... less controll of the bars.

Hope this helps.

Hey Bansh-eman, Can you tell us about Motion Pro? What results can we expect from that product? Thanks.

the mp cables blow... polish had the steel braided and when they got hot the inside material came undone and cause his clutch top be hard as balls to pull...

as far as the lever i only had it a fe month but its smooth has a little up and down play in it but not much.. its better then the stock i had for sure...
