hawk363 Posted October 27, 2006 Report Posted October 27, 2006 think i would notice a difference by putting boyeseen power reeds on the stock cages? Quote
raptorooster Posted October 27, 2006 Report Posted October 27, 2006 Yes you will, the made my machine alot crisper!! worth the money if your machine is not heavily modded otherwise you might wanna go with some V-force 3's. Quote
Champ Posted November 6, 2006 Report Posted November 6, 2006 My buddy and I both just bought 2006 Banshees and the first mod we did was the Boyseen Power Reeds into the stock reed cages. It crispened up the low end before the powerband to help climb hills a little slower (pre powerband first gear). Not a lot but there was a difference in the pre powerband torque. Since they are cheep I would recommend them. Note: when putting the power reeds on you completely remove the old reed cage stops (the metal angled stoppers for the stock reeds). Don't put those back on Quote
Handyman Posted November 6, 2006 Report Posted November 6, 2006 I had power reeds in my banshee in stock cages. I then swapped them out and installed the Boyesen pro series carbon fiber reeds in the stock cages and that made a big difference... throttle response was a lot better and made the bike snappier.
