Tell ya what, I'll give you both sets for $150 + shipping. what is your postal code? -
My friend and I just bought twin 2006 Banshees and have done some upgrading so some 1 month old parts are up for sale. 2 sets of tires not mounted with 9 days of riding on them $100 + shipping. Two of the rears have one hole resealed each on them and do not leak. 1 set of stock pipes and silencers (again with 9 days of riding on them) $100 + shipping. The pipes come with no springs and minus the front rubber clamp as these were used on the new FMF Fatties on the bike. 1 stock front bumper with no damage. This bumper has 11 days of riding in its life. 1 stock handlebar (been bent by a tree and bent back) I will throw these in with any of the above for the shipping cost. Pictures to follow if anyone is interested as these are 9 rides old there is no damage on the pipes.

My buddy and I both just bought 2006 Banshees and the first mod we did was the Boyseen Power Reeds into the stock reed cages. It crispened up the low end before the powerband to help climb hills a little slower (pre powerband first gear). Not a lot but there was a difference in the pre powerband torque. Since they are cheep I would recommend them. Note: when putting the power reeds on you completely remove the old reed cage stops (the metal angled stoppers for the stock reeds). Don't put those back on

Have you cleaned up those Gnarlys yet? I am interested in a picture of them cleaned up. I am just not interested in pipes with visible rust on them for my quad.

Yikes, you must be having a real good weekend, you haven't responded since Friday! I am anxiously waiting your reply -
As the title says, I'm looking for nerf bars that have the integrated heel guards built into them. I would really prefer black bars with black nets but steel or alum finish or chrome with black nets would be ok too. PM me if you are interested in parting with these.

FMF SST pipes and silencers for sale
Champ replied to knoxvillebanshee's topic in For Sale - Parts & Accessories
Am I to understand that the SSTs are the only FMFs that are chrome? Where do the SSTs stand to power (low/midrange/powerband) as compared to the fatties and the gnarlys? How much is shipping to Alberta Canada by any means EXCEPT UPS? -

I purchased a new 2006 Banshee and it was rejetted by the dealership to the following: 190 main, 3rd clip, 2.5 turns on low. I live in Calgary Alberta and the altitude is 1048 metres and I ride where the altitude is around 1150 metres. That would be 3800 feet. Does this sound like a good completely stock tune for this altitude? Any recommendations to try out? I just really don't like the complete lack of power until the powerband comes on. To me it feels really boggy but my buddy says thats a two stroke....... My first mod will be Boyseen reeds but I have been told that no jetting is required for these. Next mod will be K&N filter with outerwears with no box cutout so I would like a recommendation for jetting for these. The final mod will be pipes and I wonder what people think about FMF Gnarly pipes as I am most interested in gaining low end power before the pipe comes on. I am doing trail riding, light mud bogging and hill climbing. Would I be better off getting Fatties? So to sum up: What should my stock jetting for this altitude be? What should I change when I add reeds? What should I change when I then add the K&N with closed airbox? Finally what should I change when I add the pipes and which pipe do you think I should get? Thanks for the help in advance and am I ever glad I found this site!
