wood Posted October 26, 2006 Report Posted October 26, 2006 i love my banshee dont get me wrong,i here how everyones banshee smokes everything out there,and ya my bashee runs good,but i have mods and always read about everyone elses mods,how do banshees hold up to other quads that have the same mods.it always sounds like everyone is racing stock quads,because when i bought my banshee new,with no mods it wasnt to impressive to me,i had an 01 raptor before my banshee and that thing had power and was fast.it just seems a little unfair that all of these banshees are pumped up and in a different class,and racing all of these other quads. Hilarious Posted October 26, 2006 Report Posted October 26, 2006 From what I have experienced, the banshee is easier to mod out than "those other quads" Put a grand in your banshee motor and It will most likely run away from a 4stroke quad with the same money tied up in mods. I think these threads are about THE most pointless ones because you know everyne is going to argue back and forth about who has the fastest bike, and how many cubs they smoked, or how much 4 strokes suck. If I can manage to get my job situation squared up I plan to sell the 450 to get another banshee to ride in the trails. But that's simply my opinion :beer: Quote

But that's simply my opinion :beer: I trail ride only :cool: I ride for fun and the Shee is fun to ride When I buy a bike, I usualy have it for years (My dirt bike is 1996, other quad is 2000,,,ect.) In the long run, they all have to be rebuilt. I think the long-term cost of owning the Shee will also be less. Let's see,,,ride for fun,,,fun to ride,,,,cheaper in the long run!!! I had a shee and will get another someday, hopefully one of them limited edition ones that have that old yellow black scheme. Can someone tell me how much it would cost to get say a 4mil, reliable dune port/ trail port or are the 4 mil and up mainly drag engines. Quote

Sorry, just venting some rage this morning. Rough Day. I still think I'm missing your point on the people bragging about "hot" banshees beating other stock quads. Even if that was true, you probably wouldn't want to come onto a banshee board and say it, it really just looks like your trying to stir something up. Nothing wrong with some friendly rivalry, I joke on my buddy's Hondas all the time. But I would be careful with the "how everyones banshee smokes everything out there" because not everyone's does, and I've never seen anyone say that on HQ. I'm not one to preach, but I do see alot of newbies(yes, I was/am one) come here and try to start up BS threads about which quad is better, this and that. Cause shit, I'll ride an XR50 all day and still have a good time. Quote
