Just got a 2006 banshee in to tune. Havent tried anything out to solve the problem, wil do tommorow, just ask your opinion, wil save me time. The bike has 25 hours on the motor, suddenly struggling to start if the bike has cooled down. the guy said in the morning the bike just begin to start diffucult not even cold here, its summer, ive checked it out myself, the bike actually starts first kick, but then dies after idling on choke for a 3 seconds, kick again the same thing, if you touch the throttle (choke on any position) it dies. He had put on pipes and k&N filter, I did the jetting, runs perfect, but he said it wasnt like this after instalation of the pipes etc. Anyway i think its the airscrews/pilots. If i put my hand on the airbox intake to close it down so let the bike get more fuel it starts immediatly and idles normal and then you can throttle it as well. But if you dont put your hand on the intake you will have to kick 20 times till bike gets warm after dying each time. If its warmed up i can start it by hand and it runs perfect.

So the bike is to lean on low rpm, ok, but its weird, its as if the choke does not richen the mixture. Ive havent looked in to it really, dont have time, even if you adjust the airscews there is no differance, even with them closed!

I will figure it out, but maybe with you guys advice, wiil be faster, will spare me time, like i said bike is brand new, no air leaks etc.

Any opinions?

Thanks

Make sure there are no leaks around the intake boots, carbs etc. Run either 25-27.5 pilots, needle 3rd to 4th clip and 280-320 mains. Put new plugs, check the spark of the wire, make sure the reeds are good, and if it still doesn't run then it has either got to be the tors, electrical, or internal motor trouble.
