gipperz Posted October 20, 2006 Report Posted October 20, 2006 F.A.S.T. has a web site now, Check out the lights he carry's, I believe they are trail tech. I'm thinking about buying those and the price seems to be right. Just my thoughts. Quote
Bansh88 Posted October 20, 2006 Report Posted October 20, 2006 35watt trail techs in stock location with stock stator. HUGE difference! I highly reccomend it Quote
wood Posted October 20, 2006 Author Report Posted October 20, 2006 the price seems a little high for headlights, but if they are going to make that much of a change then thats what iam looking for.in the winter time i get in alot of night riding in.i was hopeing for something really bright,if you guys run them and there that much better then thats what i will pick up,thanks. polkaudio Posted October 20, 2006 Report Posted October 20, 2006 I have an older ricky Stator kit using Super Off-roader lights. Much better than stock, but I'm converting to a DC system to run an HID. Quote
Justintoxicated Posted October 20, 2006 Report Posted October 20, 2006 Trailtech headlights lights w/ double isolattion with 30watt Osram/Sylvania IR Bulbs (50 watt standard Halogen equivilant), is not a bad setup at all (probably 3-4 times better light). But if you want like 20 times the stock headlights, then Trailtech HID's are worth double and even tripple the price of the halogens. Quote
wood Posted October 20, 2006 Author Report Posted October 20, 2006 can i run trailtech hd's off of the stock stator. Quote
Justintoxicated Posted October 20, 2006 Report Posted October 20, 2006 can i run trailtech hd's off of the stock stator. Yes but it takes some work (floating the ground) and you will also need a Voltage rectifier to convert to DC power, as well as a battery. Well worth it IMO, even one 30 wat HID can blow away 3 Halogens even if you get the special osram bulbs. There are posts on here about floating the ground if you are interested, it does require removal of the stock stator. Quote
ClimbAnyHill Posted October 22, 2006 Report Posted October 22, 2006 Check out the trail techs in my signature picture. Big difference at night and definately a good investment. Looks and works better than stocks. Quote
brandonracing01 Posted October 23, 2006 Report Posted October 23, 2006 i have teh trail tech lights that mount onto the handle bars they are way brighter than stock and i love them on the handle bar so the light move when you move! i would highly recomend these lights easy to install and makes a huge diffrence!
