milo_32000 Posted October 19, 2006 Report Posted October 19, 2006 I hope this will save someone from making the same mistake, some time ago I bought a K & N air filter off this fellow member, it was for a stock Banshee air box, then I tried to install it and of course it fits like ####, so I buy a Pro Flow adapter from a GOOD guy Heidi {Dane } guess what they are don`t take the same filters, the Pro Flow takes a different filter, hope this helps someone else, so now looking for a Pro Flow filter, Milo_32000 Quote

I hope not, that's not their fault... And I agree....a ProFlow is a must, stock air box design blows.... Quote

I hope not, that's not their fault... And I agree....a ProFlow is a must, stock air box design blows.... WHAT? The ProFlow Adapter should be basicaly the same size as the stocker's plastic plate. I don't get it. The stock one has a white plastic plate that you can cut the supports off it untill it is basicaly the same thing as a proflow adapter, then silicone it in place. I drilled some holes and used zip ties for mine as well. I never bought the proflow adapter... but I have sceen them many times and they are identical to the stock plastic mount as far as filter size goes. A picture would help.
