flipcarre Posted October 19, 2006 Report Posted October 19, 2006 I can't wait for winter, this saturday i go to pick up my new shee... I know it sounds kinda late to be gettin one but i really want one. I dont know what to do for the winter though, it gets down to -30 to -50 some days... I just ordered a k&n twin pod filter with outerwears and some PT Mids... Also can someone hook me up with a current jetting, i'll have the PT and K&N, my elevation is 850ish FT above sea level and on average 30-45 F outside.. Or... is it bad to run it at this cold of weather? Quote
Dinner Posted October 19, 2006 Report Posted October 19, 2006 Right now with Pro Circuits, K&N Filter W/O Lid, Boyesen Reeds, Stock Carbs, i have...25 Pilot, 310 Main, Air screw 1.0 turns out. But that was for the warmer weather. Im at 900ft+ sea level, and its around 0-10 celcius right now, so im going to get some 27.5 pilot, and 330/340 mains, and then fiddle with the air screw. Maybe this will give you an idea  Quote
dajogejr Posted October 19, 2006 Report Posted October 19, 2006 Stock pilots. start with a 310 main...work your way down if needed. If you runa lid on the air box, start with 290. Stock pilots. If it won't run right off idle and the air screw is less than .5 turns out....go 27.5 pilots. start with a 340main...work your way down if needed. Might end up with 330 to 360 depending on temps. PTs don't flow as much as a T5...like I ran, but...that should get you close. Quote
flipcarre Posted October 20, 2006 Author Report Posted October 20, 2006 thanks for the input guys  hopefully this sunday i will have some pics of her. Quote
