what the heck why is it that al the used cdi i find are for newer quads i need one for a 91 and dont want to buy a new one until i find out if that is the real prob do yall know where a good place to look beside ebay

all cdi's from 87-94 are the same then 95-96 same and then 97 and up same...

Whichever you need, you won't be able to find. It's murphy's law. The hardest ones to find though, seem to be the 95-96, because they were only used for the 2 years.

Tell me about it...(96 here) just got the dyna to be done with it...

Your next step if you don't want to/can't find a used one is to go to Ricky Stator. He sells new CDIs for 125. A dyna will set you back almost 300, and a stock OEM from a dealer more than that....
