shee likes when i go down Posted October 16, 2006 Report Posted October 16, 2006 does any one else hate how it kicks over with nerf bars i dont like that theres nothing to stop your foot like with the stock ones and is there anything to solve this Quote
PhilMoore Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 It should start on half a kick. You should never hit the stop anyway. If you have to kick it to the stop to get it started, get it fixed so it starts right. Quote
LiftdT4R Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 Yeah, to be honest, I can start mine with my hand, or else, I will kick it, while I'm standing next to it, that way, you don't hit the nerfs. But, yeah, if I'm standing on it and kick it, it's kind of hard to stop it half way through the motion, so it usually bottoms out. Quote
platinumjason Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 I can sit on mine and kick it over to get it started. Only have to kick it half to three quaters of the way. Quote

I usually go up 1 jet size in October, and then another size in late November/December. Then in the spring I'll go down 2 jet sizes. Your porbably running it lean, not by much, but still, might be worth it too switch jets. Quote
06BansheeSE Posted October 18, 2006 Report Posted October 18, 2006 How do i get my shee to start with a half kick? It usually takes me a full kick or 2 to get it started. Thanks Quote
firefighterjosh Posted October 18, 2006 Report Posted October 18, 2006 Thats why I had heel guards  Quote
csrmel Posted October 18, 2006 Report Posted October 18, 2006 i leave mine in first gear and sit on it. i rock it foreward hard enough with my body so that the engine cranks a little bit. this is enough to get it started. i just have to be quick about pulling in the clutch or it will instantly die out again. no kickstarter needed. when a reasonably stock engine is tuned properly, it should be incredibly easy to start. if you have to kick it more than a few times something is wrong. i can leave mine sitting for a month or more and jump on it and it will start by rocking it or if i use the kickstart it awalys starts on first kick.
