Yeah, I'm a Cummins groupie myself and would not want anything else. I have a 99 with 37" tires and 5" lift and a one ton that I could pull my house with. Right now I pull a 35' fiver at 17000, with a 16' car trailer behind that with a class A. I look like a train goin' down the road, but damn it pulls like a freight train, and still gets 14 miles per gallon. I tip the scale at 31,000 with everything goin' over Donner Summit and have had no problems................

The MDS (I think that's it...where it cuts cylinders) is on the 06 (I've got it, it WORKS!!!) and possibly the 05's.

I think this truck is an 03 or 04....

Although I leased mine...(read, I'm not sinking money into it...) thanks for the heads up link, Dinner....I'll have to scope it out sometime.

I have 95 dodge 2500 with v10 not had many problems with it and its on 44 swampers and i had a 99 super duty powerstroke and put 3 trannys in it before i traded in on my 05 srt-10 truck

Oh and I much rather be cummin than stroken...

RIPPEN

Hahahaha, I like that one. I'd like to try something other then a Ford for once, and I don;t have any real brand loyalty when it comes to cars, but unfortunately my dad, also my boss, is exteremly loyal to Ford, so that's all we get.

I'd go for it. The dodge's are good. Thats not a bad price. Just get ready to pay for the gas. Even my 4.7 dakota gets only 16mpg on the highway.

The Dakota is porbably gets the worst gas milegae out of any car out there. I had a Dakota for a month when one of our trucks got wrecked, and the thing was fawkin' terrible on gas. Even the V8 gas 250s and 350s we have aren't that bad. The thing would just drink gas, I thought there was a hole in the tank.
