the skin doctor Posted October 3, 2006 Report Posted October 3, 2006 i have fatty silencers on my 1995 shee. i have a friend who has some fmf headers that need to be cleaned up but has no holes in them. will those headers match up to my silencers that i have now?will it make it run faster than the stock headers i have on them now?i was going to get some new toomeys but they are a little expensive and i'm saving for x-mas. please give me some input on this.one more question, does it matter that they are not chrome? they have no dents or leaks Quote
mxturd Posted October 3, 2006 Report Posted October 3, 2006 FMF (headers) belong on those silencers that you have,,sooo they should work alot better than what you are doing with the stock pipes Quote

Animalman294 Posted October 3, 2006 Report Posted October 3, 2006 You can buff them if you think they will turn out good. Otherwise get some high temp paint and go to town. You can even send them to a chromer and have them chromed if you want............. Quote
black sunshine Posted October 4, 2006 Report Posted October 4, 2006 Try to find out what headers they are, gnarlys, fattys, ssts, ect. I know the ssts have a little longer stinger so the silencer is shorter. I dont know about the others. See if you can test fit them first, to see if your silencers will still bolt up. Quote
