i did the timing advance this weekend. i forgot my didital camera though and my flip phone camera wouldnt take good enough pics.

but i will say that +4 timing REALLY wakes up the bottom end. like wow, every banshee should come like that from the factory. to give you an idea of what it did for the low end, just cruising around the streets i kept trying to shift into 7th gear. problem is no banshee has a 7th gear! the +4 makes 6th pull like 5th, and 5th pull like 4th. so it kept fooling me into thinking i was in a lower gear than i really was.

i also cut 3 loops off of each carb return spring. another nice improvment. no more sore thumb!

Something to kinda add to this... I'm always willing to go out to the garage and make a walkthrough as best I can for someone who needs help with something. Especially now when my junk is tore apart all over the garage, and all my parts are cleaned and ready for re-assembly. I even did one on how to clean your carbs for a guy not too long ago. I have a bunch of digital cameras and have no problem taking my time and getting pictures step by step for anything I do.

Just thought of an idea that I mooched from the sportbike forum I go to. We need a section on the forum dedicated to walk throughs of how to do certain repairs on a quad. Take a look at this link and you will get what im saying.

Here ya go

That is awesome
