stuntmasta3o5 Posted August 21, 2006 Report Posted August 21, 2006 Well, interested in buying aftermarket parts for my car from a guy in NC. I was wondering if there was a safer way of transfering money other than paypal. Any input? Quote

Rustbag Posted August 21, 2006 Report Posted August 21, 2006 Whats wrong with paypal? I use it and never had a problem. Quote
csrmel Posted August 21, 2006 Report Posted August 21, 2006 theres nothing inherintly "wrong" with paypal. i have about 400 transactions through paypal and havent got scammed once. as a seller i have had people try to say i shipped them the wrong item, etc. but paypals investigation dept did a good job and resolved the situation. although it took a while, like 2 months i think. paypal is generally pretty safe. i bought honda CRV tyre cover through paypal once and the seller shipped me one with a rip in it. i let paypal know it was ripped and they refunded my money and the seller apologised.
