Lee
it's been a while but i noticed an rss link on the homepage and was wonder if and how it works.i have a couple of rss channels on my psp. RSS is essentially a text version of a site. However, only certain content (in this case thread titles & links to the thread, etc) are included in the RSS. Any newsfeed you see from a news source, on a relavent site, is probably an rss feed. You can use rss and xml on a bunch of devices such as PDA's with wifi/ethernet, mobile phones, or tablet pc's, even watches (the spiffy net/pc watches for geeks). RSS uses a language called XML, which is a tag-based language (similar to html) that tells the mobile device or whatever is reading it, how to display the rss file (formatting, spacing, etc). Just a very portable, slimmed down way to get headlines and tidbits out without causing bandwidth issues.
