i dont' understand how the 450s can run wide open all day and use like a quart of gas, WTF?!

Single cylinder and 4 stroke = firing 1/4 as much as the twin cylinder 2 stroke.

 

Banshee= Fires every 180 degrees of crank rotation

 

450= Fires every 720 degrees of crank rotation

 

Actually the crf is what I call a blank shot system.. It fires every 180 degrees but only arcs at TDC... I'd drain the tank in my 'shee in less than 45 mins... I can run for damn near two race weekends on one tank on the 450...

Ya my gas lasts about 2 1/2 to 3 hours but thats ridding a lil and BSing a lil and riding a lil.

Not all 450s get awesome hourage. My 450 runs though a tank in real close to the same amount of time my banshee does. It is a 2.5 gallon tank not a 3.5 but its still not like the old suzuki 230 that can go like a week in the dunes and never have to be filled
