So.....i know this is probably somethingt that has been covered a hundred times...

How much do i want to advance my timing.......my buddy and i both are doing it.....i just have t-6 pipes and toomey needles with 310 main jets.......k+n filter with the airbox chopped off......i was thining 4 degrees but not sure if that is the best setup????? we're lightening the fllywheels at the same time so i wonder what the best timing advance would be......and what additional mods i would need to get the most power.......i also am planning on doing the NOSS cool head with 20 cc domes...maybe even 19cc.........

What elevation and what octane fuel are you running. The more you advance the higher octane you will want to run. This also goes for compression. Combine the two and you want to have a lot of octane.

I run anywhere from 145-175lbs depending on where I'm at, and 9 degrees advanced, sometimes dropped down to 7 degrees. Right now I'm running a fuel we actually make ourselves in the garage. It has an equivalent octane rating of about 130 or so. Give or take a few.
