quiet silencers

I'm moving to Colorado (army) and on my way I'm going to spend some time back home. Well Back home is Florence Oregon, and I have toomeys. I'm not looking to spend the $130 on the hush kit if I can avoid it because I'm just passing through, and I really need as much of my money as possible for the move, I'm curious though, will another brand of silencer match up to my pipes, and pass the DB test? Cause used silencers are a dime a dozen. I'd much rather grab some of those off ebay run them while I'm there, then throw them back on ebay when I get to Colorado.

I know that Cascade make them "CSFX" for T5 but it's 335$ for more info

For the 20 bucks it cost to repack 'em...I'd do that and see if they pass. FMF used to make ISDE silencers...not sure if they fit up, but those are probably about the quietest you're gonna find.

Be careful in florence they have been cracking down there on the loud four strokes hard. But if you stay out of their way they should leave you alone. Just repack them like was said before and you should be ok, When are you coming through

Try LRD's, they'll fit T-5's. The silencer is bigger than Toomey's so they hold more packing and they also have turndown tips. :thumb:

grab a hush kit. when youre done sell it on ebay and you can get back 95% of the inital cost.

cascade csfx is the quietest setup besides the toomey hush kit.
