csrmel Posted July 31, 2006 Report Posted July 31, 2006 for the slower trails i installed 4 120mm fans on the front of my raidator. i wired them up so they they run in place of the low beam light switch. shit stays as cool as i want it to be. wont overheat even when stationary. i did lose my low beams but i never used them anyways. Plus if you have any temp readings from after the fan install I'd like to hear what they are. Quote
Banshee~ Posted August 1, 2006 Report Posted August 1, 2006 A radiator helps more than anything but it costs a fortune, until I break off the money to buy one I run a coolhead and engine ice. I use an inline cooler too, even if it doesn't do much at least it's billet. Another thing that helps alot too is a billet water impeller...keep your eyes open on ebay and the for sale section for one going cheap. I think I only gave $45 for my prodesign one. Some fmf gnarlys for trails and fast trails, and fmf fattys and pt mids for all around riding. Do a search for pipes.... Quote
