Bunny771 Posted July 25, 2006 Report Posted July 25, 2006 Hey, My idle screw hole threads are messed up because the hole i drilled was a little too big. I was wondering if there is a easy solution to this problem. Ive heard of loctite repair a thread kit, aswell as other goos. I plan on buying new carbs in 4 months once the winter comes but i want a solution so that i can just ride it out for now. Thanks Quote
JUGGS Posted July 26, 2006 Report Posted July 26, 2006 A buddy of mine had the same prob he took a fine thread bolt and filled it down on the end just like the idle screw and then he just tapped new threads still works today and that was just a quick fix up north riding. good luck Quote
