No Limit Powersports Posted July 18, 2006 Report Posted July 18, 2006 (edited) I have a set of Dune trash racing ported 350 cylinders. They have pistons and rings but i blew an oring on one side and it started to eat up one of the pistons but i got it shut down so it didnt hurt anything else. You could replace one piston and be up and going. The cylinders were on the bike when i got it I was told that they were ported by dune trash racing. The bike supposedly made 80 some hp on alky. The bike out ran several stock cubs on gas. From what i can tell they have been decked for a 0 deck height on a stock stroke and i checked all the port timings and it is a aggressive port. Ill try and get some pics up tomorrow if somebody needs them $400 shipped P.S. 64.75mm bore Edited July 18, 2006 by bansheestang Quote
BigRed350x Posted July 19, 2006 Report Posted July 19, 2006 Dune Trash stuff runs hard! I've raced a few of them and got beat by a couple dune trash bikes. Quote

Yea they were the fastest stock stroke stock bore stock cylinders ive ever been on. I raced a few 350 cubs that i know were making upper 70's and puttin a hurtin on em. Quote
BigRed350x Posted July 19, 2006 Report Posted July 19, 2006 (edited) There's a guy who rides at walden with a set of dune trash stock cylinders, stock stroke on alky and he will get me by a lot when we race. That thing stomps me bad. Whoever buys these won't be disappointed Edited July 19, 2006 by BigRed350x Quote
Samdogmx Posted July 19, 2006 Report Posted July 19, 2006 So they'd need a new set of pistons? Are the bores themselves OK or whould they need a hone? I'd like to see some pix. Quote
banshee364 Posted July 19, 2006 Report Posted July 19, 2006 What all will need to be done to this setup before i can bolt it on and run it. I am very interested and have the cash in hand. Get me some pics and let me know about the other question. What pistons are you running in them? Thanks. Very interested. Quote

All that needs to be done is one new piston weisco 513MO6475 and your ready to run. Buying two new one and honing the cylinders would be ok but they were brand new and i just blew an oring so its not necessary. The cylinders have been decked on top to tighten up the squish which means with a typical off the shelf 19cc set of domes you will need race gas. I have a set of 17cc domes cut for these cylinders if your interested ill throw in for an extra $35 which is highly recommended cause it ran perfect. Pics are before i blew the oring Edited July 19, 2006 by bansheestang Quote
