AXLE BEARING SIZE

hey guys i have to replace the axle bearings and i was thinking of going to a local bearing house to get them. i know that the seal measurements are 62x42x8 and 62x43x8 but which one goes on the brake side and which one goes on the sproket side. also i need to know what are the measurements of the axle bearings. thanks

definitely don't buy that stuff from yamaha. i paid $29 for each bearing, another parts store here local sells them for $12.95, seals for $7.95. check them out www.royaldistributing.com page 125. i'm sure they ship to usa, or i can ship them to you if you want.

 

the bearings are both the same on either side, but like you said the seals are not. i still have my old bearings, i can measure them on tues when i go to work where i have a vernier if someone has not posted up by then

outer diameter: 2.443"

inner diameter: 1.371"

overall width: 0.554"

Hey guys thanks for the help :beer: I just bought a set of ALLBALLS bearings and seals off of EBAY for $19.95. I heard that those are good bearings and it seemed to be a fair price so it was kinda hard to pass up.
