yamahakid1 Posted July 14, 2006 Report Posted July 14, 2006 Since my swingarm is coming off and a new one is going on do I need to order a swingarm linkage kit or should I just get a swingarm bearing kit which it says that it has everything required for a complete rebuild, but then why would they offer the lnkage kit especially since the linkage kit is a considerable amount more? Hilarious Posted July 14, 2006 Report Posted July 14, 2006 You should be good to go with some new pivot bearings and axle bearings and seals. And grease everything up good before you put it back togeather. Quote
BigRed350x Posted July 14, 2006 Report Posted July 14, 2006 Get a swinger with bushings. I got one from loco and love it. No more bearing crap for me! Two bushings in either end of the swinger is all I need to worry about. Quote
Animalman294 Posted July 14, 2006 Report Posted July 14, 2006 The bushings sound cool, but otherwise tap it with a zerk fitting to grease it............. Quote
