ive soaked some for 10 minutes before , and once the engine turnd on i let it idle for 5 minutes and then , i ripped it ....... clutch is still holdin up good

 

I reccomend if you can wait , to soak them the night before.

i usually let them sit overnight, and toss in the steels so they're not dry either. maybe it's overkill, but i haven't been in that big of a rush to go any less. overnight sure won't hurt anything though. just make sure you use the same tranny oil you will be using in your ride all the time.

I just dip them in and install them...at least that's how I did it on my CR125. It doesn't say to soak them in the service manual, just dip them. On the Banshee it was a 6 month build so I had all the time in the world to wait around for them to soak. Both clutches work fine.
