Hilarious Posted June 29, 2006 Report Posted June 29, 2006 I think this IS his "off season" :laugh: I thought he told me once that usualy after memorial weekend it starts to slow a bit but I don't think thats the case this year.. Jeff I belive is deffinatly worth the wait... I have had several of the same experiences with Jeff as dajogerjr has. When I picked up my engine from him this last spring him and I were talking about paddles.. That was the only thing left that I was needing for the season but had no money at the time to get them. Jeff simply told me "When your ready for paddles let me know. Even if you don't buy them from me, just want to make sure you get the right ones." The guy is very up front and trustworthy. Have heard of many bikes that he has ported that suprise allot of people. I have even suprised a few guys around here with my dune port ... Future needed porting or parts, Jeffs gettin my money RIPPEN You're not the one Jeff was tellin me about that got a dune/play port from him and put it on a dyno and was pushin' 75 horse, are ya? He was tellin me something about that and said the guy was jetted pretty rich and could have easily gotten 80 or more out of it had he leaned it out a little. What I was talking about with the suprises is racing other bikes. I have beat some guys that I wouldn't have though I was going too. Iam running stock stroke and have beat several ported 4mills.. Funny things is, I built my bike for hill shooting rather than dragging.. Tight steep hill climbs is where I spend most of my time.. RIPPEN Quote

The other riders may not be as experienced as you, or there bikes could have not been tunes right, inadequate paddles, etc. There are a number of variable to consider why some bikes beat others. But bottom line was that you spanked them anyway . Great ego booster..................... Quote

It wasn't like they were cubs or anything and like you said you never know the skill of the tuner or the rider. I was just stoked because I know mine is still a bit on the fat side and I actually built the bike for hills and not draggin. And I can say its much better on the hills.. Now that you got the port timing figured out and the better pipes I know it will run better and you SHOULD beat me easly. However you must admit mine runs well though for a mild port :biggrin: On mexfest weekend though I was throwing it down on a cople 4mills but as mentioned before, Iam not sure of the extent of porting, ect. Otherwise I wasn't even gonna bring your name up brotha :tongue: As for the fourth I doubt ill make it up..
