Slayer1018 Posted June 1, 2006 Report Posted June 1, 2006 (edited) I should be recieving it tommorrow along w/ two UNI filters. I will no longer be using the Tommey 2:1... There are way too many puddles in the trails around here and I'm tired of going slow through all of them. This is probably the nicest air box I've seen... Does anyone have any experience w/ them? I figure on real wet days I'll cover the top w/ duct tape. I had gone on a ride w/ a few friends on dirt bikes a few weeks ago on a wet day and I went through a few puddles too fast and stalled the engine... Not fun and not good. I had the outer wear on but its not like its water proof. So it sucked in some water... luckily no damage... just stalled. If there had been damage to my engine, would it even be running? dajogejr Posted June 2, 2006 Report Posted June 2, 2006 I'm not a fan of the airbox...but, man...that looks suwheet!!! Quote
Slayer1018 Posted June 6, 2006 Author Report Posted June 6, 2006 (edited) Well I recieved it today... Really nice! But... It doesn't fit w/ my DMC pipes. I hope that CFM will take it back. Too bad because its real mean looking. I've decided to go w/ another stock air box, K and N filter, no lid, and an Outerwear... Stuff like this stresses me out Edited June 6, 2006 by Slayer1018 Quote
