Samdogmx Posted May 30, 2006 Report Posted May 30, 2006 Ok I have about $2000 to spend but cant make up my mind what i wana do. The current mods are in the sig. I DONT want a full on drag bike. I want to be able to play around & jump stuff. So dont say i need a drag frame & struts or anything. I dont think i want to get anything more than a +4 swinger I was kinda thinking or either doing a 4mil crank with some ported stock cylinders, seems like there are alot of used cyl/piston setups on planetsand. or should i just go all out with a 4mil & cub cylinders? either way I want to get some better pipes & intakes & carbs. I just dont know if I can swing the carbs & pipes & still be under $2k. or should i just stick with the stock stroke & get some porting dune porting done on my current setup? I dont know give me your opinions guys. Quote

Rustbag Posted May 31, 2006 Report Posted May 31, 2006 I'd keep the stock stroke, get some cub cylinders with the 68mm bore, 35mm carbs and some good pipes like shearers. Quote
EastCoast Banshee Posted May 31, 2006 Report Posted May 31, 2006 Well whats more important to you handeling or speed? You could get a good suspension setup and still have enough left over for a good port and carbs.. Its really up to you but in my oppion if you spend most your time in the dunes get a set of cubs. mnduner Posted May 31, 2006 Report Posted May 31, 2006 how about a second shee? then you build one for play and one for speed Quote
Samdogmx Posted May 31, 2006 Author Report Posted May 31, 2006 yeah now im thinking about just getting a stock stroke cub. that would definatly be less work than a 4mil crank. Quote
