96dragbanshee Posted May 19, 2006 Report Posted May 19, 2006 Well i just finished all the work on my 1996 banshee. I started it up and it was idleing well above 1000 rpms. The idle was full throttle. Can anyone direct me to the possible problems. It is for sure not that the slides on the carb arent going in. The needles are totally in and the slides are clear in. I have the original TORs. Any help would be great. Quote
batoutofshell Posted May 19, 2006 Report Posted May 19, 2006 If you are for sure the slides are all the way down(look thru the back of the filter area after taking it off) then you have a air leak somewhere. Quote
Toomey Banshee Posted May 20, 2006 Report Posted May 20, 2006 either your slides are stuck open or you have a massive air leak. Check around your carb boots first for the leak. Quote
