Like the description says

I need to put a new crank in my shee. It had a stock stroke 5mm? hot rod using blaster pistons.

Do i want to replace it with the same style of crank or stroke it 4mm?

How about some opinions?

All depends on how deep your wallet is.

I'd say 4mil with 5mm longer rods, properly welded and trued is the way to go.

But, you'll have to run a spacer plate or get the head cut accordingly...

If you don't run the plate, the engine has to be ported properly...

You're going down a money pit road, one well worth it...but, it just depends on your wallet.

Talk to a reputable builder...see what they say.

I can tell you first hand, from talking to Jeff @ FAST, we went over the whole motor when I built mine, from spark plug to drain plug, flywheel to clutch basket...

he left no rock unturned...

I have a lathe. Where can i get some blueprints on the mods necessary to cut the domes for my cool head?

4mm over stock stroke means it goes 2mm further up the bore. .079 inches roughly.

I would prefer not to run a spacer plate that gives away you are running a stroker crank.

I want to be able to say its just a 370 and be believed.

I just sold one of my "extra" bikes and have some money burning a hole in my wallet. Want to make my shee put the whoop ass on my best friends extremely worked over yfz450 (Hi comp piston, cams, ported, piped, aftermarket ignition)

this thing Hauls ass!

I am working on a 4mil long rod right now. I am hoping to have her up and running this weekend. been a long time waiting but I will tell ya, if you are patient you can build the stroker for relatively cheap by getting parts off of here and Ebay. Bad thing is though your moving to another level and you will need all that goes with that. Things like heavy duty clutching, carbs, head, domes, ect ect ect. Mine is also ported thugh.
