racer Posted May 16, 2006 Report Share Posted May 16, 2006 can you run your bike without the link on it? i was fucking around today and noticed that the factory shock with out the link, bolted into factory drilled holes cycles ~13" of travel. thats a shit ton. youd have to respring and valve maybe, but 13" is totally worth it. any thoughts? BTW im going to try it once i get my shock back from the builder. and i made the measurements from the fenders to the tire, centered over the axle. they were taken with the shock completely compressed and completely extended with no spring on it.
