Aren't they another smokescreen like the boost bottle?I don't see the purpose.How much difference do they really make?

as far as performance gains ,they do very little.they are good for getting carbs to clear clutch arm ,nitrous nozzle mounting .they do serve better than a boost does.

Race and blue are correct they only move the carbs back to give more clearence below them. If you get bigger carbs they will hit the clutch cable and cause interference, so the plate solves this problem. As for any improvement, wellllllllllllllll I think the improvement would be about like getting a more aerodynamic helmet :rotflmao: . Bottom line it is a way to solve a problem....... :cheers:

a good billet intake already has this feture built into it for clearing carbs ,the idea behind the reed spacer is to balance the reverse wave from the stroke and add crank volume ,its not a gimmik and some engine setups totally respond very well to this mod , for the bulk of us with banshees it wil l barely be noticable though (usually a stronger midrange punch ) :bolt::dance:
