OK so I decided to take my shee out and give her a little hell, and I figured since I still have stock rear tires = BURNOUT TIME, well half way into it I looked back and saw thick white smoke out of both pipes, still ran fine I didnt notice a power drop so I shut her down to cool down. When I started her back up there was no smoke until shee got up to about 140 degrees. I pulled the head and the left piston was kind of oily, could this be tranny oil? also the smoke smelled like burning plastic.Thanx for any help in advance

a sweet smell with white smoke denotes the burning of coolant. and everyone knows what burned oil smells like. check both fluids and see which is low.

thanx for the info I already drained the coolant, I figure since its broken I might as well replace all seals since it hasnt been done in years. I was wondering if anyone knows of a good place to take my crank to get welded in or around Riverside,CA. also I will do a few other mods while its apart, new clutch, shift star mod, advanced timing, new rings, also I am going to shorten my swing arm by about 4 inches, a +6 swinger is too much for me, I dont need it. :D

I heard chapparal has good connects on engine work. If not i usaully meet up with some riversiders in riverside that have some pretty tricked out bikes. They got all kinds of connects for very cheap prices. I'll be ridin there on sunday, hit me up if you wanna go talk to those guys. They are a pretty big atv club/crew from riverside.
